Not only is Money For Nothing by Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits one of the most iconic electric guitar riffs of all time, the guitar tone captured on the original studio recording is probably one of the most desired tones by Dire Straits and Knopfler fans and has always being one of the hardest sounds to faithfully recreate.

I've heard all the rumours of how the Money For Nothing guitar tone was originally created, fixed wah wah pedal, out of phase etc and i admit they will get you some of the way there.
