Thanks Mark. Yeah, my bad, I forgot that 5-way switches were only introduced in 1977, and a '62 custom shop is going to have a 3-way switch. Sounds great anyway!
The middle pickupo will be reverse wound - i have a 3 way switch though so rarely use nthe inbetween positions on his strat.Nothing is used to prevent hum, single coils hum a bit, so do my old juniors. . .its part of the sound so just let em hum :-)
Awesome. I think '62 Strat pickups are often not reverse wound. Do you use a 60-cycle hum suppressor? I didn't hear any hum on stage at 2019 Copenhagen.
Thanks! Thats actually a sonic blue custom shop '62 strat. in 2019 it still had the original pickups which are the Fender Abby Ybarra hand wound pickups. Since 2022 its had a set of pickups made by my friend Andreas Kloppmann in Germany
Would love to see you again in the SF Bay Area, US. Saw you in 2022 at the Club Fox Theater in Redwood City, California. I think you guys visit the US West Coast every other year?
Hi, Yes they are Fender Hot Rod Deville 4x10 combos, usually a pair of them - Ive used them in small clubs, theatres and on huge festival stages. . . and one in my dining room right now, great amps!Mark

What kind of pickups do you use in your white Strat? Your lead in 2019 Copenhagen Warrior sounds absolutely far out.
