Money For Nothing guitar tone kemper profile
Not only is Money For Nothing by Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits one of the most iconic electric guitar riffs of all time, the guitar tone captured on the original studio recording is probably one of the most desired tones by Dire Straits and Knopfler fans and has always being one of the hardest sounds to faithfully recreate.
I've heard all the rumours of how the Money For Nothing tone was originally created, fixed wah wah pedal, out of phase etc and i admit they will get you some of the way there.
My Money For Nothing Kemper Profile was not created in Aire Studios, Montserrat, nor did it involve hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of preamps and outboard studio equipment, a 1959 Gibson Les Paul or Vintage Marshall amplifiers.
This Kemper profile was tweaked, tuned and edited by myself and i firmly believe that you will not find a more accurate Money For Nothing Kemper sound anywhere.
Check out the sample recording i made.
If you're a Mark Knopfler or Dire Straits fan or just a tone fanatic who plays Money For Nothing either in a covers or tribute band or even just at home for your own enjoyment - Play it and sound like the original!
Tone Tip: For my demo track i played my Gibson Les Paul Standard using the bridge pickup with the guitars volume and tone set on full. (pickup is a Kloppmann '57 PAF)
Once i receive you're order i will send the Kemper Profile file via the email address associated to your PayPal account shortly after.
